SAMMY STAMP SAVING SCHEME

The Sammy Stamp Saving Scheme has been part of Mitchelstown Credit Union for many years and is well known and loved by the Primary School Children in our Common Bond. Sammy Stamps are sold in the Primary Schools at a cost of €1 each. Children are encouraged to use their Sammy Stamps savings for holidays, school tours etc. and they are a great way to get young children into the habit of saving.

Sammy Stamp Saving Cards can be redeemed at any Credit Union office or lodged to the childs account.

TEENAGE SAVING STAMP SCHEME

Having identified a "gap" in our savings services within our Secondary Schools we brought a proposal to the school authorities to re-introduce the Teenage Saving Stamp Scheme. Following agreement on this proposal we re-established School Credit Union Committees and proceeded to launch the Scheme. To date there has been steady progress made and we are satisfied that, with the continued hard work of the School Committees and the Youth Development Officer/Youth Committee, the Scheme will go from strength to strength. Teenage Saving Stamps are sold in the school at a cost of €1 each.

Teenage Saving Stamp Cards can be redeemed at any Credit Union office or lodged to your account.

ADULT SAVING STAMP SCHEME

This Scheme was introduced in November 2009 and has proven a great success to date. Stamps costing €2 each are available from a dispensing machine located in the Banking Hall at Credit Union Office in Mitchelstown. The scheme is also available at our sub offices in Ballylanders and Knocklong.

Completed cards may be redeemed at any of our offices.
