DAFFODIL DAY 2011

DAFFODIL DAY 2011

Mitchelstown Credit Union Ltd.

As you are aware Daffodil Day was held on the 25th of March in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.

There was a sea of yellow across the country on Daffodil Day as groups and businesses worked hard to fundraise for the Irish Cancer Society.

Here in Mitchelstown volunteers from the Credit Union took to the streets with daffodils and pins to show their support.

A spokesperson for the Irish Cancer Society extended a huge thank you to everyone who came out to support Daffodil Day.

Every daffodil, key-ring or pin sold, allows the Irish Cancer Society to continue to provide its free nationwide cancer information and patient care services.

We would also like to thank everybody who gave so generously towards Daffodil Day, as usual the people of Mitchelstown can be very proud of their contribution to the Irish Cancer Society on Daffodil Day.
